To get from Palermo Airport (PMO) to the city centre, you have several options;
taxi, private transfer or train, with the train being the most budget friendly and the taxi/private transfer being the quickest and most convenient.
TRAIN
Duration: Approximately 44 minutes.
Take the train from Palermo-Punta Raisi Aeroporto Station to Palermo Centrale.
Two trains run every hour.
CAR
Duration: Around 40 minutes in average traffic conditions.
Ubers are also readily available.
You can 100% hire a car to drive around Palermo, but from experience, parking can be difficult in the city centre. The local driving in Palermo can also be wild — so be careful out there.
